Synopsis: M’s not your typical guy and his relationship is in trouble. Can reinventing oneself reignite the fire when the passion starts to flame out? Two worlds collide in this short tale of unrequited love.
Director’s Statement: “Write and film what’s familiar to you and what you know,” sound advice given to me many moons ago as a young film student. Unfortunately it didn’t resonate with me at the time. Years later I’ve learned that all life experiences, both the good and not so good, are plenty enough source material to just go out there and be creative, oh and having a firm deadline helps too. This little short is about a situation people may find themselves in or hopefully can all relate to.
Director’s bio: Having graduated from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, I’ve spent the majority of my working life in education as a teacher. I grew up on Super 8 and 16mm film as a kid so I have a nostalgic take on things as can be seen in my earlier student work. When not teaching I keep myself busy doing freelance production work and writing short scripts, but fully remain on course (albeit a long one) to realizing my potential as an independent filmmaker.
