I must apologize in advance if this post has come quite late, as wifi connections in both Bangkok, Langkawi and now Luang Prabang have been very weak and spotty. I will still talk about Bangkok at this stage, even though I have already moved through Malaysia and now in Laos, so you will soon see a string of travel posts from yours truly. Anyways, I am here to post up some of the pics of the sites, sounds and flavors I savored in Bangkok, Thailand.

One thing I will say before allowing you to enjoy the pictures of sites and food is that Thai people are probably one of the most friendly people I have ever come across en mass as a country of people. It was one thing which I enjoyed the most about my time in Bangkok. So without further adieu, sit back and relax as you check out where this crazy Chewy has been,

1. CHINATOWN, BANGKOK

2. WAT PHO TEMPLE, BANGKOK ( HOME OF THE HUGE RECLINING BUDDHA)

3. KHAO SAN ROAD ( ALSO KNOWN AS “EXPAT”/FOREIGNER REGION)

Please note, I was probably most not enthusiastic about heading over to this part of Bangkok considering it is known to be filled with foreigners ( particularly Westerners and Europeans). Generally, my rule of thumb heading to Asia is to avoid these areas – but we ended up here accidentally as we were searching for a currency exchange spot and this area was the closest to where we were at the time.

4. THE GRAND PALACE

5. WAT ARUN TEMPLE

6. CATCHING A SHOW AND EXHIBITION MUAY THAI MATCH

Please note, I will do a more extensive post on this experience soon, as it deserves more than just a “sites, sounds and flavors” post.

7. GETTING FEET CLEANED BY FEEDING THE FISHES!

Please note, I will do a more extensive post on this experience soon, as it deserves more than just a “sites, sounds and flavors” post.

8. VIEWS AND EATING AT/FROM OUR RESORT ACCOMMODATION

I will also write a more extensive post on this, as I literally was dreading our last day at this resort considering we were pampered to the max.

9. BANGKOK AIRPORT (SUVAMABHUNI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)

ENJOY! MORE TO COME!
