An immigrant-heavy suburb in New Jersey, Teaneck is mourning the loss of a father and his four daughters this weekend.
The family was killed on Friday while driving through Townsend, Delaware. Their minivan was hit head-on by a truck driving the wrong way. The mother, Mary Rose Trinidad is the family’s sole survivor, though she is still in critical condition.
Teaneck locals held a church service and vigil for the family on Saturday.
According to ABC7 News, it was “a tragedy so unspeakable, it feels like drowning in a sea of sorrow.”
