After taking a break from her co-hosting duties on THE TALK following her husband, Les Moonves, being ousted as CEO of CBS following multiple sexual misconduct charges, Julie Chen returned to host BIG BROTHER last night and made it clear to many where she stands.

Although Chen didn’t directly address the current events, she signed off at the end of the show by saying, “From outside the ‘Big Brother’ house … I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Good night.” This was the first time she referred to herself as “Moonves” signaling her solidarity with her husband.

“Is it a message?” Whoopi Goldberg asked this morning on THE VIEW. “Is she saying look, I’m standing by my husband?”

“Absolutely, I think it’s really clear, she’s been the host of that show since 2000. We’re talking 18 years and she’s never signed off on ‘The Talk’ or ‘Big Brother’ using Moonves as her last name,” replied co-host Sunny Hostin. “I think it was a message saying, ‘I believe in my husband,’ much like the message that she put out on Twitter. I think she’s letting us know she’s still there.”
