Synopsis: Stigma can prevent families from seeking support. A daughter makes a difficult decision to help her father.

Director’s Statement: I’ve been friends with Rich Likong for about 18 years and we’ve NEVER made a narrative style film together. We’ve talked about it since 2000, but life just gets hectic…one year because three, three becomes eight, eight becomes fifteen…now it’s time to put up or shut up. When the Interpretations 2.0 contest came up, I thought this would be a great opportunity to collaborate. As usual, Murphy’s Law kicked in (schedule conflicts), but by some miracle we were able to shoot the story within a 2.5 hour time frame (original planned shooting time was 4.5 hours). Good times in filmmaking!

Director’s Bio: Eric Ignacio is a Filipino American filmmaker. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Asian American Studies and a MA in Instructional Technologies.
