Lily forms a bond with a plant after moving from her home. Her imaginary world takes on a life of its own that Lily’s mom does not understand.

(Director’s Statement):
When I started this film, I wanted to create a short film that portrayed a female character that responds to stress with her imagination. I felt there was a strong lack of dramatic stories about girls who are not victims or monsters. I hope “Lily” shows a girl who is neither of those things, but rather, a creative person with her own wants and desires.

(Director’s Bio):
Park is a Korean born, Asian-American independent writer and director. Her visual style draws from her interest in the fine arts. She works in many different aspects of the film industry. In conjunction, she continues her working relationship with Visual Communications, the first non-profit organization dedicated to accurate portrayal of Asian Americans in media.
