Brooklyn leaders are in an uproar after discovering anti-Chinese graffiti in the neighborhood of Bensonhurst, reports Fox5.
They rallied expressing their disgust and calling for an end to bigotry and racism.
Messages included “Chinese (expletive) stink like fish.” That was one of the milder ones. Others were so vile they could not be shown on TV.
“I feel we’ve been attacked,” said Stephanie Wong, executive director of the United Chinese Association of Brooklyn, said to NY1. “This is definitely attacked, and nasty, disgusting, and our neighborhood don’t need this. We are in one of the best neighborhoods in New York City, and we don’t need this.”
